Manager, Outbound Fulfillment

The position of Manager, Outbound Fulfillment will lead the shipping team in the New England Fulfillment Centers in support of organizational objectives aligned to supply chain excellence.

Based at our Fulfillment Center, this position will be responsible for managing efficient, effective, and safe fulfillment operations across all aspects of the outbound supply chain, from incoming receipts to outgoing shipments, for the warehouse facilities in New England, as assigned.

This position may require occasional travel to the Rochester Electronics campus as needed.

Responsibilities Manage all fulfillment operations, processes, workflows, and practices, demonstrating a hands-on approach to ensure that operations are carried out efficiently and accurately.Implement and operate scalable processes, apportioning resources to maximize business cycles, i.e., incoming inventory / outgoing shipments.Work in tandem with Sales and Supplier Operations to support bi-directional ease of doing businessDrive continuous improvement of fulfillment operations through innovation, new system evaluation, and automation.Ensure the safe running of all operations in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.Interact with cross-functional groups to solve business, supplier, and customer issues.Create and report on all process and performance improvements on an ongoing basis.Utilizes LEAN business processes to ensure minimal waste and highest efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction and optimize supplier relationships.Improve operations throughout all facets of the warehouse operations: Vendor ManagementSafety / ComplianceProcess Improvements Manages department employees and operations with a continuous improvement mentality to: Set goals and expectationsHold employees accountable for their workProvides motivationCompose and conduct performance reviews for direct reports,Responsible for career development/planning, performance of team members, andManage the hiring, staffing, training, and maintenance of a diverse and effective team.

Build and maintain strong partnerships and communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders.Lead discussions, problem-solving efforts, and process improvements to ensure that performance targets are met or exceeded.Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications Associate's degree or higher requiredMinimum 5 years supervisory/management warehouse experience or relevant work experience required.

Minimum 5 years experience in effectively leading a team across multiple shifts to include hiring, corrective action, motivating others to run an efficient fulfillment operation, including processes and procedures.

Strong computer skills required in preparing and generating reports on a regular basis, i.e., MS Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, etc.Highly enthusiastic, positive, and proactive management style required.
