Site Coordinator- Before and After School Care (Tambark Creek Elementary)

Location: Tambark Creek Elementary School, 4419 180th St SE, Bothell, WA 98012 Availability: Monday-Friday; Must be available for shifts between 6:20 a.m.

and 6:30 p.m.

Site hours are 6:20-9:00am and 3:15-6:30pm M-TH & 2:00-6:30pm Friday.

What you will do at the Y: As a Before & After School Site Coordinator,youwill lead andoversee the daily operation of ahigh-qualitylicensed school-agechild careprogram.You'lllead and support a team of staff, create a safe and engaging environment for children, and build positive relationships with families and school partners.

During the school year, you'll workinour before and after-school programs.

During the summer,you'llserve in a leadership role at one of our YMCA day camps.

Work Schedule This is anin-person, full-time, year-round positionworking directly with children,Monday-Friday.

Site Coordinators typically work a combination of: Morning program hours before school Administrative hours during the school day Afternoon program hours after school On non-school days and summer breaks: Full Day program hours, 8-hour shift.

Most Site Coordinators work 35-40 hoursper week, with a mix ofleadership, administrative, and direct programin-ratioresponsibilities.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Lead the daily operations of a licensed before and after-school program.

Coordinate with theProgramDirector to develop, prepare,and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote learning, belonging, and healthy development.

Supervision of all children and related program area activities.

Supervise, coach, and support a team of youth development staff.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for every child.

Build positive relationships with families, school staff, and community partners.

Ensure compliance with state and local regulations in addition to YMCA standards and procedures.

Maintain materials, equipment, and programfacility.

Maintain required program records.

Complete administrative responsibilities including scheduling, planning, communication, and documentation.
