8am-4pm primarily, some shift 10:00am-6:00pm.

Every other weekend off) Duties specific to the Cook include: a.) Prepare and serve meals according to the set menu.

b.) Maintain the kitchen area in a sanitary and safe condition while on duty.

c.) Will follow food preparation lists as given by the Food Service Coordinator.

d.) Will supervise residents assigned to kitchen detail.

e.) Perform other duties as needed to assist in the operations of the food service area as assigned by the Food Service Coordinator/Facility Director.

Minimum qualifications: Must become ServeSafe certified.

Two years experience in the preparation of food for large groups of individuals.

The Cook will work a forty-hour work week, which may include weekend hours.

The person hired for this position must be found acceptable by an interview in regard to his/her interpersonal skills, personal appearance and character.
