Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)PRN The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides services under the direction of a Physical Therapist to help patients restore function, reduce pain, and maintain performance in a home health setting.

Carry out therapy plans developed by the Physical Therapist Assist with treatments to improve mobility, strength, and function Monitor patient progress and report changes to PT and care team Educate patients and families on exercises and care plans Support use of equipment (wheelchairs, braces, etc.) Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team as needed Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Active PTA license per state requirements Strong communication and observation skills Experience working with geriatric patients preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Work Environment Home health / community-based setting Travel required between patient homes Exposure to clinical environments and conditions
