Job Description for Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Bolivar Campus Job Title: Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Bolivar Campus Department: Undergraduate Admissions FLSA Status: Exempt Reports To: Director of Undergraduate Admissions Summary/Objective This position serves as a management member of the Enrollment Management Team and is primarily responsible for the training and education of Admissions Counselors, assisting the Director of UG Admissions develop and execute recruitment strategies, assisting the Campus Visit and Event Coordinator with the Campus Strategic Visit Days and supporting the Admissions Counselors daily; as well as responsible for a recruiting territory.

Essential Job Duties Part of the management team that creates, evaluates and applies strategies and techniques of admissions recruitment in connection with the Admissions Counselor Team Participates in the hiring and evaluation process of all new Bolivar Admissions Counselors Assists in administering the training program for newly hired Undergraduate Admissions Counselors Assists the Director in the monitoring and tracking of the departmental budget and invoices Assists in the design and development of the undergraduate admissions communication flowAssists in updates to admissions materialsAssists the Campus Visit and Event Coordinator with designing, developing and evaluating Campus Strategic Visit Days (including speaking at the events)Available to coach and mentor Admissions Counselors, as well as give advice and answer questions as needed.Responsible for securing office materials needed as Undergraduate Admissions employees onboard.

Available for working with students, parents, school officials and others as needed to answer questions regarding admissions requirements, transfer guidelines, financial aid and scholarship information, as well as other matters of the University Overseeing the student call center Other duties assigned by the Director of Undergraduate Admissions Regular attendance and punctuality Sets an example of a Christian lifestyle for students, staff and faculty Commitment and adherence to Southwest Baptist Universitys Principles and Expectations Supervisory Responsibility The Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions is responsible for supervising all Undergraduate Admissions Counselors.

Position Requirements Required Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years of admissions experience Demonstrated ability to efficiently and effectively solve problems and implement projects independently Demonstrated ability to work with a wide range of people and commitment to diversity Skill in effective communication and public presentations Knowledge of issues pertaining to areas of assignment Supervisory skills and training experience Must have a valid drivers license and approved driving record Must be available for necessary travel and work a varied schedule to complete assignments Must be a...
