The Material Balance Specialist role will work in cooperation with and in support of the Manager of Measurement & Material Balance.
The position interfaces with Engineering, Operations, Distribution, Laboratory, and Measurement personnel.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Initiating data supply chain by verifying field measurement data daily.
* Resolving imbalances on assigned assets throughout the month.
* Effectively collaborating within the Material Balance team and with other departments to research and investigate asset imbalances in a timely manner.
* Effectively communicating with internal and external customers.
* Verifying that field measurement policies and procedures have been executed.
* Issuing balancing reports in a timely manner and with minimal errors.
* Being present to perform monthly closing duties during the first three business days of every month.
* Cross-training on other assets within the group.
* Visiting operational and meter station locations (~2x/year).
The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:
* High school diploma or G.E.D.
equivalent is required.
* College degree is preferred but not required.
* Previous experience in a plant or technical environment is preferred.
* Understands and demonstrates computer functionality and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
