What You Bring to the Arena Keep preconstruction and design moving -- aligned, on budget, and on schedule -- from first sketch to final GMP.

Take ownership of preconstruction schedules, budgets, and deliverables from day one.

Engage architects, engineers, estimators, and consultants to keep project objectives aligned.

Track timelines and milestones, and flag risks before they become problems.

Coordinate design reviews across disciplines and support feasibility studies, value engineering, and constructability reviews.

Coordinate GMPs and lump-sum values with design-build and design-assist subcontractors.

Build strong client relationships through responsiveness and follow-through.

The Skills Behind the Build Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

5-10 years of experience in project management or preconstruction within commercial construction.

Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery methods.

Solid understanding of construction budgeting, scheduling, and process from the ground up.

Proficiency with project management tools and software.

Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%) and visit active job sites as needed.
