What You'll Do
As a Residential Sales & Design Consultant, you'll manage the customer consultation journey from understanding their needs through to final design and specification.

You will:


* Conduct engaging face-to-face and virtual design consultations with homeowners.


* Build strong relationships and understand each customer's lifestyle, preferences, project requirements and future needs.


* Guide customers through electrical, safety, connectivity and smart home options.


* Recommend suitable Clipsal and Schneider Electric products and solutions.


* Identify opportunities to enhance customer outcomes through relevant product recommendations and upgrades.


* Explain technical products and technologies in a simple and engaging way.


* Interpret residential floor plans, building documentation and construction drawings.


* Develop tailored room-by-room electrical designs and product specifications using Clipspec.


* Prepare accurate Bills of Materials and supporting project documentation.


* Provide professional post-consultation support and manage customer enquiries.


* Build effective relationships with homeowners, builders, electricians and internal stakeholders.


* Maintain accurate project information and manage multiple customer projects and priorities.


* Continuously develop your knowledge of residential construction, smart home technology and the Schneider Electric portfolio.

About You
You're a customer-focused sales professional who enjoys understanding what customers need and helping them make confident decisions.

You combine strong relationship-building skills with commercial awareness and are comfortable discussing products, presenting options and recommending solutions.

You'll bring:


* 2-5 years of sales experience within the construction, residential building, housing, building products or a closely related industry.


* A Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Building Services or a related technical discipline.
