The Opportunity

Drive High-End Tensioned Fabric Solutions.

SHADE Industries is seeking a hands-on Lead Shade Structure Installer to serve as a pivotal field leader in the installation of custom, premium shade sails and tensioned fabric products for high-end residential and commercial clients.

This role empowers you to manage on-site logistics, supervise small crews, and deliver superior craftsmanship.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be the on-site authority, ensuring that every custom structure is built safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards:

* Site Leadership: Join, supervise, and confidently direct field teams of 1-4 employees to ensure the precise installation of custom shade structures.

* Complex Execution: Execute hands-on field tasks including manual/machinery excavation, steel fabrication (assembly and drilling), and small-batch concrete pouring.

* Blueprint Reading: Accurately interpret complex project blueprints and construction documents to ensure every installation meets exact engineering and design specifications.

* Logistics & Equipment: Manage the safe operation of light and medium-duty company vehicles, trailers, and heavy equipment.

* Project Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with customers, sales staff, project management, and subcontractors to maintain clear project scheduling and status updates.

* Problem Solving & Safety: Troubleshoot real-time site challenges efficiently and maintain a safe, organized work environment in strict accordance with OSHA safety regulations.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

* Experience: Proven, hands-on experience in the construction industry with a heavy focus on field installations.

(Previous leadership experience within specialty contracting or tensioned fabric sectors is highly preferred!)

* Technical Skills: The ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment, plus proven experience performing steel fabrication tasks.

(Advanced experience with excavation machinery, site-mixing concrete, and pump trucks is a huge plus).

* Leadership: Demonstrated ability to confidently lead small teams and work independently on highly specialized projects.
