Material Handler - 1st Shift

The material handler is responsible for keeping the warehouse areas organized, unloading product deliveries, maintaining stock in the warehouse, and moving raw and rework materials for production.

Responsible for quality, safety, and housekeeping.

Work Schedule: 1st Shift 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday - Friday Responsibilities Identify difference between final packagingProperly make up boxesSample boxes and mark samples properlyMonitor in-feed and out-feed conveyors and insure proper movement of boxesMaintain level in additive tanksUpdate records on holding tanks on control room boardKeep up with levels of product in all holding tanks usedMaintains production materials storage area, including recording material transactions in inventory records and properly storing itemsPerform all required machine cleaningDocument work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.Participate in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methodsFollows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.

Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.Other duties/responsibilities as assigned, or apparent.
