Job Overview

Collier Electrical Corp is seeking skilled and dependable Journeyman Electricians (E-1 or E-2 license) to join our Field Operations team.

In this hands-on role, you will perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial job sites throughout Connecticut.

Ideal candidates will bring a solid work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and the drive to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Travel to job sites is required, using company-provided vans.

Key Responsibilities



* Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial projects


* Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately


* Collaborate with fellow journeymen and apprentices on job sites to ensure work is completed on time and up to code


* Maintain safety standards at all times, using proper PPE and following OSHA/compliance guidelines


* Use personal hand tools and company-provided equipment as needed to perform work


* Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams


* Complete daily logs and provide updates on project status as required

Qualifications



* Valid State of Connecticut E-1 or E-2 Electrical License (required)


* Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work preferred


* High school diploma or GED preferred


* Valid driver’s license with clean driving record


* Able to pass a background check in compliance with applicable laws


* Strong communication and teamwork skills


* Own basic electrical tools


* Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
