* Salary/Pay Rate: $22 to $30 per hour (based on experience)


* Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid / 20% Travel Required within the local area.)

* Project Scope: Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of multifamily and commercial low-voltage infrastructure


* Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Texas Security license, Valid Drivers License.

How You Will Make an Impact


* Install, configure, and service complex access control systems including card readers, door hardware, and system controllers.


* Terminate, route, and troubleshoot low-voltage wiring for networked surveillance systems and security infrastructure.


* Diagnose technical hardware failures, wiring faults, and device communication performance issues in the field.


* Keep detailed documentation regarding customer contact and progress on various projects.


* Interpret architectural wiring diagrams, blueprints, and specific technical installation documentation to execute deployments accurately.


* Coordinate daily with project managers, field technicians, and multifamily property managers to complete scheduled service calls.


* Maintain clear and accurate documentation of completed on-site installations, infrastructure repairs, and preventative maintenance activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Proven hands-on experience with low-voltage wiring practices and structural cabling installations.


* Solid technical understanding of access control systems and IP-based camera technology networks.


* Demonstrated ability to navigate and work collaboratively within a dedicated, team-oriented environment.


* Valid driver's license with a consistently clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* Minimum of 3 years of experience in multifamily or commercial low-voltage security environments.


* High School Diploma or GED equivalent.


* Working knowledge of core networking fundamentals, including device connectivity and IP addressing.


* Manufacturer low-voltage or security industry technical certifications.
