Travel Pharmacy Technician

This job description outlines the primary responsibilities through which employees embody our CARE values and contribute to the companys mission of outstanding service Responsibilities Able to work independently under the direction of a supervisorDeliver medication restocks directly to skilled nursing home facilitiesMaintain active communication with client facility and pharmacy staffUtilize reporting applications (myQlink, OmniCenter)Maintain accurate information at each ADS (Automated Dispensing System) (quantity and expiration date)Identify and address discrepancies to ensure proper billingReplace potentially expiring inventoryRestock depleted inventoryMonthly audits (cycle count)Provide reports for the facilityComplete any other task assigned by the supervisor Qualifications Important: Must be local to Central Florida areaHigh School diploma or equivalentLicensed FL Pharmacy Technician requiredPrevious pharmacy experience required (one-year experience in long-term care preferred)Experience with Automated Dispensing Systems (Pyxis, Omnicell) and Data Entry preferredAble to use various programs and applications efficiently and able to troubleshoot ADS problemsGood organizational skills and detail orientedBasic math and analytical skillsAbility to physically perform light liftingA valid drivers license & car insurance and reliable transportation requiredWilling to drive long distances in the State of Florida EEO Statement, SpecialtyRx, Inc.
