This is full-time 100% salaried position.

Hours and shifts may vary depending on cohort needs.

Hours may include weekends and off-hours for clinicals, didactic instruction and/or skills teaching.

Classroom instruction is located at 610 N.

Whitney Way in Madison, WI.

Currently all clinicals are at University Hospital.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

Provide engaging didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction for UW Health's Nursing Assistant Program, preparing students with the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to provide safe, compassionate patient care.

Guide, motivate, and inspire students while creating a respectful, inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learners and encourages professional growth.

Evaluate student performance and progress across classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings, providing meaningful feedback and identifying opportunities for additional support.

Ensure high-quality instruction and program compliance by aligning courses and clinical experiences with Wisconsin Department of Health Services requirements, program objectives, and Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Contribute to continuous quality improvement and program development by evaluating instructional effectiveness, updating course materials, and collaborating with the NA Program Manager and fellow instructors.

Bring your clinical nursing expertise to the classroom and make a lasting impact by helping prepare future nursing assistants to deliver safe, high-quality care to patients and families.

Please note that 1 (one) year of inpatient RN experience and one (1) year of RN or LPN long-term care is required for the position.
