Customs & Trade Compliance Manager
We are looking for an experienced Customs & Trade Compliance Manager to lead trade compliance activities across Mexico and Central America.
This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs and international trade regulations, mitigating risks, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting business growth through effective trade compliance programs.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical leader with deep expertise in customs regulations, trade agreements, import/export operations, and government compliance programs.
What You Will Do
* Lead and oversee customs and trade compliance activities across Mexico and Central America.
* Ensure compliance with import, export, customs valuation, origin determination, trade remedies, and other trade regulations.
* Manage and maintain IMMEX, PROSEC, VAT Certification, and related compliance programs.
* Monitor changes in customs legislation, trade regulations, and government requirements, assessing business impacts and implementing mitigation actions.
* Develop, implement, and maintain regional trade compliance policies, procedures, and risk management programs.
* Lead import/export audits, compliance reviews, corrective action plans, and performance scorecards.
* Partner with customs authorities and government agencies to address audits, inquiries, and operational challenges.
* Deliver trade compliance training and guidance to stakeholders across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Engineering, and other functions.
* Analyze trade and import data to identify risks, trends, savings opportunities, and process improvements.
* Drive cost optimization through free trade agreements, duty reduction programs, and compliance initiatives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure trade compliance requirements are embedded into business operations.

Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Customs, Business, Law, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Customs & Trade Compliance.
