Global Research - Industry Policy Thematics Research - Vice President

Job responsibilities


* Drive research analysis on themes such as supply chain and advanced manufacturing; defense and aerospace; energy independence and resilience; frontier and strategic technologies; and pharmaceutical and health technologies and produce regular research and deep-dive reports


* Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of relevant industries and supply chains


* Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking progress or lack thereof of IPT industries development


* Produce high quality commercial research drawing on data, market signals, and sector-specific evidence and factoring in how policy and geopolitics shape sectoral opportunities and risks


* Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders


* Collaborate with different lines of research and different business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research


* Communicate findings through business writing


* Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal and external client engagements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* 1-5 years' experience in data analysis


* Solid written and oral communication skills


* Intellectual flexibility to work across multiple industries and themes with curiosity, a strong work ethic, and a team player mentality


* Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment


* Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Experience in the financial services industry or IPT-related industry research organization
