GS 15 - Retail Associate

Gobble Stop is looking for a friendly, energetic, responsible individual for a part-time sales associate position at a locally-owned convenience store.

The sales associate is responsible for: Creating a positive customer experienceOperating the electronic point of sale system & collecting various payment methodsHandling lottery transactions & equipmentOperating fueling equipment in a responsible, safe mannerInteracting with product vendorsManaging and stocking product inventoryMaintaining cleanliness standards Requirements: Must be 21 years oldMust possess basic math skillsMust possess effective verbal and written communication skillsMust pass background checkWork independently without supervision Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry boxes and/or equipment weighing up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to climb, balance, reach, grab, stoop, crawl, bend, and crouch for extended periodsAbility to use close, distant, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and visual focusAbility to smell and identify odorsAbility to clearly hear and interpret voice commands and telephone communications
