We are seeking a strategic Senior Operations Manager to lead and elevate the operations of our supply chain hub in Bolingbrook, IL.

As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the strategic vision for our supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with our values and delivering exceptional performance.

What You Will Do

Strategic Leadership:


* Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the supply chain hub, aligning with company values and overarching business goals


* Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team in executing strategic initiatives

Team Leadership and Development:


* Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and principled-based decision-making


* Provide coaching and professional development opportunities for team members

Operational Excellence:


* Drive operational excellence by optimizing processes and workflows for maximum efficiency and productivity


* Implement best practices in supply chain management to enhance overall performance

Cross-Functional Collaboration:



* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment of operations with broader business objectives


* Lead initiatives to enhance collaboration between departments and improve overall business performance

Performance Metrics and Analysis:


* Monitor and drive improvement in key performance indicators (KPIs) to determine business headwinds and tailwinds


* Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Risk Management and Compliance:


* Oversee risk management processes to identify and mitigate potential operational risks


* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, safety, and ethical standards

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field


* Proven experience in a senior operations management role within the supply chain or logistics industry


* Demonstrated success in driving strategic initiatives and achieving operational excellence


* Experience leveraging data and analytics to drive business decisions


* Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements


* Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation

For this role, we anticipate paying $115,000- $135,000 per year.

This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
