VIE - Finance Analyst - Budapest

About the Role
Join Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain (GSC) Finance team and contribute to the financial performance management of a worldwide organization.

Based in Budapest, you will support the consolidation, analysis, reporting, and forecasting of key Supply Chain financial indicators, while participating in the deployment of new performance management tools and processes.

This international position offers strong exposure to global finance operations and regular interactions with regional and global stakeholders across multiple continents.
Your Mission
As a Global Supply Chain FP&A Analyst, you will support the monthly reporting and quarterly forecasting cycles while contributing to the continuous improvement of financial performance measurement and reporting tools across the Supply Chain organization.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis


* Collect, consolidate, and retrieve financial reporting data from Schneider Electric's enterprise performance management systems.


* Analyze financial performance and key Supply Chain indicators


* Verify, challenge, and ensure the quality and reliability of reported financial data.


* Investigate variances and support performance analysis activities.

Reporting & Forecasting


* Prepare and update standard monthly reporting packages for Global Supply Chain leadership.


* Support quarterly forecasting exercises and related financial analyses.


* Partner with regional and central FP&A teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and performance tracking.


* Contribute to executive-level reporting and presentations.

Performance Management & Digital Transformation


* Support the deployment and adoption of new Supply Chain performance management tools.


* Participate in the Horizon Project and related transformation initiatives.


* Contribute to testing, user acceptance, training, and continuous improvement activities.


* Represent the Global Supply Chain Finance team in cross-functional performance measurement initiatives.

Education


* Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration.

Skills & Experience


* Over 2 years of professional experience in finance, controlling, audit in industrial field preferably


* Strong analytical and numerical skills.


* Good understanding of financial reporting and controlling concepts.


* Advanced Excel skills; experience with reporting or data visualization tools is a plus.


* Ability to work with large datasets and identify inconsistencies.


* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.


* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Languages


* Fluent English is mandatory.
