Supply Chain Intern

Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Intern at our Mechanicsburg, PA facility for the Spring 2027 semester.

This is a part-time, onsite position designed for students looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, process improvement, data analysis, and manufacturing while completing their studies.

What will you do?


* Conduct time studies and data analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.


* Work directly on the manufacturing floor to support process improvement initiatives, 5S activities, and operational efficiency.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities to improve workflows, standard processes, and overall productivity.


* Develop reports, presentations, and performance metrics to communicate findings and provide visibility into improvement opportunities.


* Support continuous improvement projects by collecting and analyzing data, documenting processes, and providing data-driven recommendations.


* Participate in projects focused on improving efficiency, organization, and overall operational performance.

What qualifications will make you successful?


* Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.


* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings, ideas, and recommendations.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.


* Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.


* Interest or experience in process improvement, time studies, 5S, or manufacturing operations.


* Strong attention to detail and ability to develop clear reports and presentations.


* Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.


* Self-motivated learner with an interest in supply chain, manufacturing, and continuous improvement.


* Ability to work onsite during business hours while balancing academic commitments.
