Assistant Director of Operations

Position Summary The Assistant Director of Operations for Tecumseh Oxygen and Medical Supply is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality medical equipment and services to our clients.

This role involves assisting with supply chain logistics, regulatory compliance, inventory control, and customer service while leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.

The Assistant Director of Operations will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, finance, and human resources, to align operational goals with the company's strategic objectives.

POSITION SUMMARY EXPANDED: Under the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act,(The Unity Bill) this position is considered a Safety-sensitive position.

Safety-sensitive is defined to include any job that includes tasks or duties that could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following areas: Operational Management: Assist with daily operations of Tecumseh Oxygen and Medical Supply, including supply chain management, inventory control, order fulfillment, and customer service.Assist with implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and other applicable laws.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency, quality control, and cost-effectiveness.

Supply Chain and Inventory Management: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of medical equipment and supplies.Oversee inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock, implementing just-in-time inventory strategies where applicable.Assist with coordination of logistics and distribution processes to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of equipment to clients.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to the distribution of durable medical equipment.Assist with the maintenance of accurate records and documentation required for regulatory audits and inspections.Stay informed of industry changes and ensure that company practices are up to date with current regulations.

Customer Service and Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that client needs are met with professionalism and empathy.Maintain quality assurance processes to ensure the integrity and safety of all equipment provided to clients.Handle escalated customer issues and work towards quick and effective resolution.
