Division/Department/Program: Lawrenceville Outpatient Center View Point Health proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults.

At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based therapies and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use.

The Behavioral Health Team Leader is the working supervisor for a team of clinicians, med providers &/or paraprofessionals staff providing mental health &/or addictive disease treatment services.

In addition to providing direct therapy services to clients and families the Team Lead provides day-to-day oversight, administrative leadership and supervision to subordinate staff, including service plan and documentation reviews for conformity to agency and payer requirements.

Appropriately interprets, implements, and enforces compliance with agency policies and procedures and safety regulations.

May assist with applicant interviews and hiring process.

Trains and evaluates performance of staff.

Schedules for staff coverage.

Follows Fair Labor Standards Act and all other legal and agency requirements regarding scheduling, hours worked and granting compensatory time and overtime for non-exempt subordinates.

Reviews time records submitted by non-exempt subordinates for accuracy and completeness.

Apply consistent standards for approval or denial of leave that comply with agency policies and procedures related to use of leave and suggested minimum balances.

Will regularly counsel employees whose leave balances or leave use are below standards and/or take other appropriate disciplinary actions.

Ensure that pay information submitted to each employee is complete and accurate by verifying leave approvals and records of time worked.

Promptly notify the manager and/or the Human Resources office when salaried employees go off the payroll due to resignations or require pay adjustments for leave without pay or other issues.

Comply with legal requirements and agency policies regarding timelines and documentation for Family Leave requests and other requests for leave of absence.

Duties & Responsibilities: Direct Clinical Care & Case Management Provides professional Evidenced-Based therapeutic services to persons with mental illness and/or addictive disease.

Arranges appointment schedule at optimal intervals to maximize use of work time.

Conducts face-to-face comprehensive assessment to identify problems and service needs.

Provides individual, family or group therapeutic counseling and/or educational and skill development sessions as indicated in the service plan.

Monitors client progress and compliance with the service plan.
