At APV, we Always Provide Value POSITION SUMMARY APV is seeking a Data Programmer/Analytical to support production, data preparation, quality control, testing, documentation, and routine analytical activities for FDA CDER's Office of Computational Science.

The position is designed for an early-career technical professional with foundational programming and data-analysis skills who can execute well-defined tasks under the direction of senior programmers, data standards specialists, and clinical/nonclinical subject matter experts DUTIES Write, execute, and maintain basic programs and scripts using R, Python, SAS, SQL, or similar programming languages.Prepare, transform, organize, and perform basic validation of structured datasets.Execute established analytical workflows using approved specifications, templates, scripts, and procedures.Generate recurring tables, listings, reports, visualizations, and other analytical outputs.Perform first-level quality control of datasets, programs, and outputs.Compare expected and actual results and document discrepancies.Execute regression tests and predefined test cases for analytical tools and workflows.Troubleshoot routine programming errors and escalate more complex issues to senior staff.Support development and maintenance of reusable scripts, templates, functions, and automation components.Assist senior staff with data preparation and routine processing supporting clinical, SpAS, and nonclinical analyses.Maintain documentation of datasets, programs, processing steps, testing results, versions, and final outputs.Organize analytical artifacts within approved repositories and configuration-management processes.Support basic visualization and dashboard development where appropriate.Assist with user acceptance testing, tool testing, and validation activities.Learn FDA-specific tools, data formats, and analytical process...
