Senior Manager - Cabinet Projects
Experienced professional in DCS, ESD and PLC systems with expertise in cabinet design, assembly, wiring, and project management.
Responsible for end-to-end execution of cabinet projects for global customers, ensuring delivery within schedule, cost, quality, and customer requirements.
Responsible for cost control, risk mitigations and change order management.
Proven track record in leading shop floor operations, including material handling, procurement, integration stores, production planning, and supervision of system integrators to ensure timely project completion.
Skilled in guiding and supporting cross-functional teams during integration, pre-FAT and FAT activities, ensuring compliance with project milestones and dispatch timelines.
Demonstrates excellent people management and leadership capabilities, fostering effective collaboration among internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring completion within the committed schedule and budget, from Kick-Off Meeting, order booking, execution, dispatch, payment collection, through to TECO closure.
Initiate and lead the Kick-Off Meeting upon receipt of the order, record minutes of meeting (MoM), and track action items through to closure.
Develop project plans, schedules and milestones for the cabinet integration order scope
Collaborate closely with the Cabinet Production and Integration Manager to plan materials and production activities in alignment with project schedules.
Ensure timely procurement of all project materials required for successful execution.
Verify that project dependencies identified by the Cabinet Integration Manager/Supervisor are effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders, including the Project Team, Engineering Team, Buyers, and Quality Team.
Review material availability regularly with Buyers and jointly ensure timely availability of materials for the integration team.
Escalate project issues promptly to the designated escalation points, including delays or discrepancies related to engineering inputs, design changes, quality control, customer supplied free issue materials, or other project critical dependencies.
Review weekly progress reports submitted by the Cabinet Integration Manager and share consolidated updates with Regional Project Managers on a regular basis.
Trigger any actions needed based on these reports.
Prepare and submit monthly project progress reports to Regional Project Managers, with a copy to the Operations Head.
Develop and maintain project dashboards to provide visibility of schedule, cost, risks, and progress.
Represent the project in all customer and internal meetings, coordinating with internal stakeholders beforehand to gather updates, align expectations, and address customer requirements.
Drive project risk management and cost control, ensuring proactive mitigation of risks and adherence to budget targets.
