What You'll Do As a Substitute Receptionist, you'll provide front-line support and help create a welcoming, professional experience for everyone who interacts with the college.

Key responsibilities include: Greeting students, visitors, staff, and community members with professionalism and courtesy.

Operating a multi-line telephone system and directing calls appropriately.

Answering questions, responding to inquiries, and taking accurate messages.

Assisting visitors with directions and connecting them to the appropriate department or individual.

Performing routine clerical duties, including filing, document imaging, data entry, and word processing.

Supporting administrative staff and departments with various office tasks.

Maintaining confidentiality of student, employee, and college information.

Organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Receiving deliveries and assisting couriers and vendors.

Promoting a positive image of the college through exceptional customer service.

Performing additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, customer service, or office support experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.

Experience with Microsoft Office applications and general office technology.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
