Day Porter
Summary The Day Porter is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the facility during business hours.
This position focuses on high-visibility cleaning, responding to immediate cleaning needs, restocking supplies, and supporting employees, visitors, and customers by ensuring common areas remain clean and presentable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, hallways, entrances, conference rooms, break rooms, restrooms, and other common areas throughout the day.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and other supplies as needed.
· Empty trash and recycling receptacles and replace liners.
· Sweep, mop, vacuum, and spot clean floors and carpets.
· Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other high-touch surfaces.
· Wipe down tables, countertops, furniture, and frequently touched areas.
· Respond promptly to spills, accidents, and other cleaning emergencies.
· Set up and break down meeting rooms as requested.
· Monitor facility conditions and report maintenance and safety concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
· Restock janitorial and restroom supplies and notify supervisor when inventory is low.
· Ensure entrances and walkways remain clean and free of debris.
· Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
· Provide courteous and professional customer service to employees, visitors, and clients.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
· Perform other related work and duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS · High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous custodial, janitorial, or porter experience preferred.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Good communication and customer service skills.
· Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.

Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals and equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT · Indoor commercial bank department facilities.
· May require occasional outdoor duties such as maintaining building entrances and sidewalks.
· Work performed during regular business hours with occasional overtime as needed.
