Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant is a key member of the Finance team responsible for ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the firm's financial data.

This role supports a multi-entity, project-driven A/E environment and requires strong technical accounting skills, deep understanding of GAAP, and the ability to work collaboratively across finance, operations, and project management.

This position will support GL and month-end close functions.

Job Responsibilities:


* General Ledger & Financial Close
+ Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities
+ Prepare, review, and post journal entries including accruals, allocations, and reclassifications
+ Reconcile balance sheets monthly with proper documentation and variance analysis
+ Maintain compliance with US GAAP and firm accounting policies


* Multi-Entity and Intercompany Accounting
+ Monitor and reconcile shared service allocations, cross-charges, and labor transfers
+ Support consolidated financial statement preparation across the firm's corporate structure


* Financial Reporting and Audit Support
+ Prepare internal financial statements, management schedules, and variance reports
+ Assist with annual external financial audit, providing support schedules and documentation
+ Support external tax advisors with GL-related requests for tax filings


* Process Improvements and Systems
+ Participate in system enhancements, upgrades, and process automation initiatives
