This is a full-time, on-site position at our beautiful facility.

What You'll Do

As our HR/Payroll Coordinator, you'll be a trusted resource for our employees throughout their journey—from onboarding through payroll, benefits, and day-to-day HR support.

You'll work closely with leadership to ensure our team members are paid accurately, supported professionally, and treated with care.

Responsibilities



* Process payroll weekly and bi-weekly accurately and on schedule.


* Maintain records for electronic timekeeping and resolve payroll discrepancies.


* Coordinate onboarding, orientations, and required background checks.


* Maintain files ensuring confidential personnel data complies with state and federal regulations.


* Administer benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.


* Track compliance for leaves of absence, workers' compensation claims, and employee documentation.


* Serve as contact for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and HR policies.


* Assist with reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions.


* Foster culture to help create a positive, welcoming workplace for all employees.

We're seeking someone who is organized, approachable, dependable, and enjoys supporting others.

Qualifications



* Experience: Minimum of 2 years of payroll and human resources experience.


* Industry: Healthcare, skilled nursing, or post-acute experience is preferred.


* Systems: Experience using payroll software and HRIS systems (Workday experience is highly preferred).


* Knowledge: Strong understanding of California labor laws, payroll practices, and employment regulations.


* Skills: Excellent organizational, time-management, communication, and customer service skills.


* Traits: High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
