Water/Wastewater Operator
Water/Wastewater Operator (RCAP Operator) Location: Remote Preferred Candidate Location:Southern Ohio Service Area: This position provides water and wastewater operations support to utilities throughout Ohio.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday Weekly Hours: 34 hours per week Employment Type:Year-Round Full-Time Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, based on education and experience Position Overview: Provide technical assistance to water and/or wastewater systems to support process improvement, regulatory compliance, and system optimization.
Assist operators and local government officials with operational, management, financial, and capacity development needs, while supporting program development, funding opportunities, and regulatory requirements.

Experience: Minimum three years experience in water or wastewater operations.
System management experience preferred.
Minimum three years experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and database software.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the latest developments in federal and state regulations, new technologies and trends relating to water and wastewater.Provide technical assistance to operators and other local government officials related to management and finance, operation and maintenance, and capacity development.Develop plans to assist water/wastewater systems with achieving and maintaining compliance with regulations, including routine maintenance, sampling and reporting, water audits, cross connection control and backflow preventi...
