Key Responsibilities



* Interpret architectural drawings, electrical single-line diagrams, and wiring schematics.


* Lead and manage electrical field crews through all phases of work, from rough-ins to trim-outs.


* Snap out reflected ceiling plans (RCPs) and accurately lay out all electrical systems.


* Coordinate materials lists and weekly purchase orders based on plans and field conditions.


* Ensure all work complies with NEC, CEC, and local building codes.


* Mentor apprentices and junior electricians to develop team skills and maintain high standards.


* Oversee installation of panel boards, switchgear, motor controls, solar systems, generators, and batteries.


* Support site safety, cleanliness, and organization per company policy.


* Communicate proactively with project management and field teams.

Qualifications



* Minimum 5+ years of journeyman-level electrical experience in residential and/or commercial construction.


* Proven ability to read and interpret construction and electrical plans.


* Strong understanding of wire and conduit sizing, single and three-phase systems, and complex electrical layouts.


* Experience with layout planning, material takeoffs, and team coordination.


* Solid leadership and communication skills with a passion for mentoring others.


* Reliable, punctual, and drug-free with a clean DMV record.


* Proficiency in English required; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
