Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
\n\n\nSUMMARY: AutoZone's Maintenance Technician provides support to AutoZone retail stores by providing preventative maintenance within an assigned geographical area.
Maintenance Technicians perform routine maintenance and repairs of buildings, equipment, and utility systems; perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections; work on special projects as requested, and perform required safety inspections.
RESPONSIBILITIES: \n
\n
* Provides high level of customer service\n
* Adheres to AutoZone dress code\n
* Ability to travel overnight frequently\n
* Maintains a safe driving and working environment, including PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)\n
* Performs routine store visits to identify and perform building and ground repair work.\n
* Performs preventive building maintenance duties on retail AutoZone stores in a geographical area\n
* Performs routine and general repair maintenance, as well as, troubleshoots minor maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or maintenance\n
* Grades and reports stores physical conditions and appearance via electronic media\n
* Creates, manages and monitors necessary work for all assigned stores in Work Order Management System\n
* Assists with identifying vendors in support of stores\n
* Performs diagnostics on Energy Management System\n
* Properly maintains vehicle(s) and takes the necessary steps to report vehicle maintenance\n
* Ability to work all the hours (of operation) that we are open for business\n
* Follow all company policies, procedures and management direction, including all fleet and safety policies\n
* Performs other duties as assigned\n
REQUIREMENTS: \n
\n
* High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)\n
* Trade or Technical School courses preferred but not required\n
* 1-2 years previous Maintenance experience or equivalent education (additional experience and/or education a plus)\n
* HVAC certifications preferred but not required\n
* Electrical, plumbing, and general construction skills\n
* Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements\n
* 21 years or older\n
Qualifications
