The Opportunity:

You will take point on assembling precise, competitive bids for high-profile national brands across diverse industrial scopes.

This role puts you at the center of customer relationship management, project strategy, and financial success.

How You Will Make an Impact:


* Perform detailed takeoffs and cost calculations for labor, materials, and equipment across complex industrial projects.


* Lead client bid reviews and deliver compelling proposals that communicate differentiation and project value.


* Partner with project managers and purchasing teams to uncover cost-saving opportunities and manage project risk.


* Identify prospective leads and target new markets to build long-term maintenance contracts and client relationships.


* Conduct post-project history reviews to optimize historical cost data and refine future bidding accuracy.

Required Qualifications & Experience:


* Proven experience accurately estimating industrial contracting projects (piping, millwright, fabrication, or sheetmetal).


* Strong technical background reading blueprints, schematics, and client project specifications.


* Deep understanding of commercial terms, bid schedules, subcontract negotiation, and cost risk analysis.


* Advanced written and verbal communication skills required for presenting proposals directly to management and clients.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.


* 5 or more years of hands-on estimating experience within the industrial sector.


* Proficiency with industry software including HeavyBid, Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, Pro Core, Fast Pipe, Fast Duct, or PlanSwift.


* Desire to step into leadership roles
