Security Operations Lead

Work You'll Do

a successful candidate :


* Support the implementation of extended detection and response services to enable automated, real-time threat detection, investigation, and response across multiple security layers.


* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future


* Perform security operations activities to help monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity events and incidents.


* Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role


* Work closely with client stakeholders in a staff augmentation capacity to support day-to-day security operations needs.


* Communicate regularly with the client to provide updates, align on priorities, and address operational needs.


* Contribute to the ongoing improvement of detection, investigation, and response processes across the security environment.

Qualifications

Required:


* 5+ years of total cybersecurity or security operations experience.


* 3+ years experience with Palo Alto security technologies.


* Hands-on experience deploying or implementing XDR capabilities for threat detection.


* Experience with Palo Alto Cortex XDR, or comparable XDR platforms if approved by the client.


* Experience as a cloud security engineer or in a comparable cloud security role.
