The Special Assets Lending Specialist provides administrative, operational, and portfolio management support to the Bank's Special Assets Group.

This position serves as a key resource for Special Assets Officers by assisting with account monitoring, reporting, documentation management, loan servicing activities, expense tracking, and portfolio administration for adversely graded, criticized, classified, and other higher-risk commercial credit relationships.

The Special Assets Lending Specialist acts as a liaison between Special Assets, Commercial Loan Operations, Credit Administration, Documentation, attorneys, borrowers, and other internal business partners to ensure accurate recordkeeping, timely information flow, and adherence to Bank procedures and regulatory requirements.

This role is primarily focused on portfolio administration, loan servicing support, monitoring, reporting, and documentation tracking.

The position does not have direct responsibility for workout negotiations, restructuring strategies, relationship management, or borrower resolution plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 


* Provide administrative and operational support to the Special Assets Group in managing criticized, classified, and other higher-risk commercial credit relationships.


* Act as a liaison between Relationship Managers, Special Assets Officers, Loan Operations, Credit Administration, Documentation, attorneys, borrowers, and other internal departments.


* Assist with gathering, organizing, and maintaining borrower financial information, collateral documentation, guarantor information, and other credit-related materials.


* Manage the transfer of customer files and information from Relationship Managers to Special Assets team, including the complete and accurate customer and loan files.
