Delivery Driver

DELIVERY DRIVER The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials between branches while ensuring accurate, timely, and reliable deliveries.

This role supports daily operations through attention to detail, consistency, and strict adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and transportation regulations.

Essential Functions ? Safely operate a company vehicle to transport materials between branches and designated locations ? Load, secure, and unload transfer shipments according to scheduled delivery times and company procedures ? Verify shipment accuracy prior to departure and upon delivery ? Track inventory and maintain accurate delivery and transfer documentation ? Stage and process tagged materials for designated branch locations ? Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues to management ? Conduct cycle counts in assigned areas to support inventory accuracy ? Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and assigned work areas ? Assist with warehouse operations, including material handling, stocking, and staging as needed ? Follow all company policies, safety standards, and traffic laws while operating company vehicles ? Work collaboratively with warehouse, operations, and branch teams to support daily business needs ? Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership or senior management Required Skills & Competencies ? Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures ? High level of accountability and dependability in meeting delivery schedules ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team ? Strong time-management and organizational skills ? Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment ? Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Education & Experience ? High school diploma or equivalent required ? Valid drivers license with a clean driving record ? Forklift certification preferred but not required ? Current health card required Physical Requirements ? Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods ? Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing 50 pounds or more ? Ability to climb, crouch, reach, and grasp materials as needed ? Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers
