Behavioral Health Clinical Team Lead - Newton Outpatient Clinic - Covington, GA

View Point Health Job Title: Behavioral Health Clinical Team Lead Job Code: HCP053/Social Worker, Licensed 3 Shift: Full-Time (40 hours per week on average) Job Hours: 8:30-5:00PM (Times May Vary) Base Location: Onsite - Covington, GA.

Division/Department/Program: Newton Outpatient Clinic View Point Health proudly provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults.

At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based therapies and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use.

Duties & Responsibilities: Provides supervision to subordinate staff, including service plan and documentation reviews for conformity to agency and payer requirements.

Appropriately interprets, implements, and enforces compliance with agency policies and procedures and safety regulations.

May assist with applicant interviews and hiring process.

Trains and evaluates performance of staff.

Approves leave requests and follows and implements agency policies regarding use of leave, communicates with payroll for any leave or pay adjustments Ensure QA standards are met - including service plan and documentation reviews for conformity to agency and payer requirements, write performance evaluations and individual development plans.

Participates in the hiring of staff; provides supervision to direct reports; completes performance assessments and coaches staff with performance improvement Provides clinical supervision to team clinicians and provides therapeutic services to clients Adheres to agency standards with clinical documents and ensure team is following standards as well as checking Carelogic alerts May assist with agency quarterly Peer Reviews Assists with client transfers and referrals Completes diagnostic formulations and assessments Collaboratively formulate SMART treatment plans to address issues identified in assessment Participate in play therapy supervision and utilize play therapy in sessions with clients Provides evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients of all ages Assist client/family in identifying, developing, and sustaining appropriate natural support systems May communicate with outside agencies/providers as needed (i.e., schools, IEP team) Provide psychoeducation to family around mental health, trauma, recovery Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs.)
