Civil Construction Substitute Instructor Location:Lehi, UT Status: Part-time Hours: Substitute position, as needed.
MondayThursday; 7:30 a.m.10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m.2:30 p.m.
Pay / Hourly: $35.00 - $38.00 hourly SUMMARY As a Substitute Instructor for the Civil Construction Program, you will play a crucial role in the education and training of the next generation of Civil Construction experts.
This role is perfect for a current construction professional, such as a superintendent or construction manager.
You will deliver an established, hands-on curriculum designed to prepare students for immediate employment in the civil construction industry.
This position allows you to coordinate with corporate partners for on-site visits and simulator sessions.

What You'll Do: Responsibilities of the Substitute Civil Construction Instructor include, but are not limited to: Deliver and enhance the existing comprehensive curriculum, with a focus on hands-on competencies.Assess and mentor students to ensure they gain the necessary skills and knowledge for successful careers in civil construction.Utilize lesson plans and performance evaluations to enhance learning in the classroom and lab settings.Emphasize safety practices as a core component of daily instruction.Provide regular feedback and support to students, fostering their success.Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the classroom and labs.Stay current with advancements in the civil construction industry and participate in professional development opportunities.Promote the Civil Construction program to attract potential students.Dedication to student success and professional standards.
