What You'll Do


* Partner with and advise managers on performance management, corrective action, employee concerns, and other workplace matters.


* Provide employees and leaders with guidance on HR policies, procedures, and their appropriate application.


* Manage and address Employee Relations matters, including disciplinary actions and employment terminations, under HR leadership.


* Conduct objective workplace investigations involving employee misconduct and other concerns.


* Administer employee appeal and grievance processes and provide recommendations for appropriate personnel actions.


* Support New Employee Orientation and employment documentation, including Form I-9 completion.


* Address unemployment matters and participate in unemployment hearings as needed.


* Respond to employee questions and connect employees with appropriate resources.


* Support employee development, recognition, career development, recruiting events, and other HR initiatives as needed.


* Participate in required training, staff meetings, and professional development activities.


* Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For
Required Education & Experience


* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.


* At least 2 years of relevant Human Resources experience.


* Coaching and advising managers on employee performance and corrective action.


* Conducting Employee Relations investigations.


* Interpreting HR policies and advising both employees and managers on their application.


* Conducting exit interviews and using employee feedback to identify trends or opportunities for organizational improvement.


* Maintaining, updating, or contributing to employee handbooks, HR policies, or procedures.

What Will Help You Succeed


* Current knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR practices, policies, regulations, and applicable standards.


* Strong communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.


* Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential matters.


* Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


* Experience with HRIS and talent management systems, or the ability to quickly learn new systems.
