Assembler (Mech Mold)

Division: Fawn Manufacturing Department: Manufacturing Job Title: Assembler (Mech Mold) Reports to: Production Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt The Assembler position will: Perform variety of duties associated with assembly of vending machines.

Assemble or install parts for vending machines.

Also required to perform other tasks, as assigned by his or her supervisor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructionsFollow detailed assembly instruction, processes and proceduresAssemble or install parts for vending machinesComplete tasks as directed with minimum supervisionEnsure work is done safely and meets quality standardsProvide a great level of attention to detail and focus on the given taskReports problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to supervisorPerformother duties as directed that correspond to the overall function of this positionKeep workareas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilitiesDesireto learn and work to the best of his/her abilities as well as dependablework ethicFollowall company rules and policies KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Adequate communication skills; verbal and writtenAbility to read and understand written instructionsBasic knowledge of electronics PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically able to do bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and liftingAbility to lift up to 75 lbs.Physically able to stand for up to 8 hoursRequires good hand-eye coordination and finger dexterityPhysically able to use a wide variety of hand and power tools EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience/combined education GENERAL: The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for performing this job.
