Base Area Maintenance Laborer - Winter

Essential Job Responsibilities: Operate company vehicles and equipment, including 4WD trucks, UTVs, and street sweepers (training provided).Establish and maintain landscaping in public spaces, with the possibility of additional landscaping areas as needed.Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of outdoor public spaces, including but not limited to scrubbing stains, sweeping, organizing furniture, and maintaining trash and recycling receptacles.Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of buildings, including vacuuming, sweeping, shampooing carpets, and washing windows and doors.Remove snow and maintain walkways using shovels, snow blowers, de-icing agents, sand and gravel (during winter months).

May be expected to operate heavy equipment with proper training.

Regularly empty and maintain trash receptacles, ensuring proper disposal.Maintain and process recycling, including the use of a baler (training provided).Haul compost to the compost machine and clean out compost buckets.Maintain walkways and plaza areas, ensuring they are clean and safe.Clean public restrooms daily, ensuring they are sanitary and well-stocked.Demonstrate reliable attendance on all scheduled workdays.Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Knowledge: Possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check.Must be 21 years of age or older, per insurance requirements, to drive or operate heavy equipment.Landscaping experience is preferred.Off-Highway Motor Vehicle (OHV) license is preferred.Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.Strong proficiency in English (both written and verbal).Excellent customer service skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests and coworkers.Coachable with a strong ability to learn quickly.Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays.

TSVI is located in a high-altitude alpine environment.

Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions.

Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.

Physical Demands of Position Include: In this position you will be standing and walking 80 90% of the time.

Most of the time you will be sitting for this position will be in a vehicle.
