What’s the role?
The Head of SMT-US is responsible for leading and managing the overall operations and resources, ensuring the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
This role represents the organization and maintains relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing one voice to represent ZEISS SMT. The Head of SMT-US plays a pivotal role in fostering a positive work environment, building a cohesive, collaborative and high-performing team that drives the strategic direction of the organization. This includes business development, field marketing, leading the technology roadmaps, maintaining the installation basis, product sales and continuously developing partnerships, including but not limited to ZEISS SMT, ZEISS INC, ZEISS SMT SSC teams and our customers. Finally, this person is responsible for developing the SMT-US organization, reporting structures, synergies and driving the cultural development of team leaders and members including talent management.

What you’ll do in this role:
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Leadership and Management: Provide visionary leadership, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Lead and develop the executive team and senior management.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to advance the organization’s mission and objectives. Identify opportunities for growth and improvement and allocate resources accordingly.
* Financial Oversight: Manage the organization's budget and financial resources, ensuring financial stability and accountability through effective financial planning, reporting, and auditing processes.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, clients, and the community.
Advocate for the organization’s interests and mission.
* Sales: Ensure meeting sales objectives and implementing negotiation excellence
* Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics (KPI) and evaluate organizational progress towards goals.
