How You Will Make an Impact


* Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil and heavy construction projects, covering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses.


* Analyze blueprints, project plans, and specifications to accurately determine overall time, cost, and material requirements.


* Consult with clients, vendors, engineers, and subcontractors to discuss estimates, resolve discrepancies, and adjust project costs.


* Assess the cost-effectiveness of products, services, and construction methods while tracking actual costs relative to active bids.


* Develop accurate bids and competitive proposals that align perfectly with project scopes and client requirements.


* Maintain strict self-management and internal drive to consistently hit sales and client relations goals in a remote setting.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Proven background in civil construction estimating with comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.


* Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage timelines efficiently, and drive results in a fully remote environment.


* Strong communication skills necessary for collaborating with vendors, architects, and multi-disciplinary project stakeholders.


* Experience in precisely interpreting blueprints, schematic designs, and technical specifications for commercial builds.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* 5 or more years of dedicated experience in civil, utility, or heavy construction estimating.


* Completion of a construction trade program or a relevant technical certification.
