Machinist - Level 5 - 3rd Shift

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by delivering high-quality machined parts that meet customer specifications, contributing to the overall success and efficiency of our production operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up, operate, and maintain CNC and manual machine tools to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
* Maintain machine tools and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation and safety compliance.
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards in the machining process.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
* Proven experience as a machinist with expertise in operating CNC and manual machine tools.
* Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and precision measurement techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
* Experience with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
* Familiarity with machine maintenance and safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
WE VALUE
* Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in a machining role, preferably in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
* 2+ years of experience in a lead role.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.
* Experience with CAD/CAM software and programming is a plus.
