Machinist - Level 2
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes, contributing to the delivery of reliable products that meet customer requirements and support Honeywell's commitment to excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts.
* Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
* Maintain machine tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
* Proven experience as a machinist with a strong understanding of machining processes and equipment operation.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints accurately.
* Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
* Knowledge of safety standards and quality control procedures in a manufacturing environment.
* Experience working with CNC machines and manual machining tools.
WE VALUE
* High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in machining is preferred.
* 3+ years of experience in aerospace or precision machining environments.
* Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing production needs
