Position Overview

KOR Building Group is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our growing team in Las Vegas.

This position requires a hands-on leader with extensive experience managing commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through completion.

The ideal candidate has successfully delivered ground-up commercial projects including retail strip centers, convenience stores, gas stations, and commercial tenant improvements (TI), including projects on the Las Vegas Strip.

This individual must thrive in fast-paced environments, maintain exceptional quality standards, and have the ability to lead subcontractors and field personnel while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Essential Responsibilities


* Manage all day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects.


* Oversee and coordinate all subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and onsite personnel.


* Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules and sequencing.


* Conduct daily site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans and specifications.


* Lead safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.


* Coordinate inspections with city officials, owners, architects, engineers, and third-party consultants.


* Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and photo documentation.


* Identify and proactively resolve construction issues to minimize schedule impacts.


* Manage project punch lists and oversee project closeout activities.


* Ensure compliance with all local building codes and jurisdictional requirements.


* Work closely with Project Managers and company leadership to ensure project success.


* Represent KOR Building Group professionally with owners, clients, inspectors, and subcontractors.

Required Qualifications


* 7-10 years of Commercial Construction Superintendent experience.


* Proven experience managing:


* Ground-up retail strip centers


* Convenience stores and gas stations


* Commercial tenant improvements


* High-profile projects on the Las Vegas Strip


* Strong understanding of:


* Commercial construction methods and sequencing


* Structural, civil, and MEP systems


* Reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications


* Scheduling and coordination of multiple trades


* Experience using construction management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms preferred.


* Excellent communication and leadership skills.


* Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
