HVAC Technician / Installer – Implement and Install High-Performance Climate Systems

The Opportunity

You will serve as a lead installer and technician, driving the deployment and maintenance of commercial environmental control systems.

This role is designed for a highly experienced, hands-on professional who possesses deep field knowledge without requiring a formal master license.

Working within our in-house trade structure, you will collaborate directly with our multi-trade teams, enjoying a stable work environment, clear accountability, and the opportunity to mentor incoming helpers in a supportive team setting.

How You Will Make an Impact


* Install and commission complex commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, air handlers, condensers, and ventilation equipment.


* Diagnose and repair malfunctions in diverse commercial climate control systems, troubleshooting electrical controls, motors, and refrigerant loops.


* Execute preventative maintenance protocols to ensure optimal system performance, efficiency, and longevity for client facilities.


* Interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to accurately lay out and install equipment on site.


* Manage refrigerant recovery and charging procedures in strict compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.


* Mentor in-house helpers and apprentice technicians, guiding them on proper installation techniques and safety protocols to help them build their skills.


* Document system parameters, startup logs, and daily service reports accurately to communicate status clearly with Project Managers and clients.

Required Qualifications & Experience


* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial HVAC installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.


* Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, low-voltage control wiring, and refrigerant flow.


* Proficiency in reading and executing tasks from mechanical blue prints and system schematics.


* EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).


* High school diploma or GED equivalent.


* Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience


* Experience with advanced commercial systems such as VRF/VRV, package units, and building automation controls.


* Strong background in safety leadership, including OSHA certifications and lift operation.


* Excellent communication skills for coordinating directly with site superintendents and other trade leads.
