Job Description:

HPE Networking is seeking a Principal, Technical Marketing Engineer.

Lead the Technical Marketing Engineering Switching team at HPE Networking to shape the future of self-driving networks.

Transform complex technologies into clear, compelling value propositions that accelerate adoption and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Drive product innovation by influencing market strategy and positioning, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance across all customer touchpoints.

Collaborate seamlessly with engineering, marketing, and sales to craft differentiated messaging, enablement content, and go-to-market strategies that position HPE as the leader in next-generation networking.

This is hybrid position, based in our Roseville, CA or San Jose, CA office.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic and technical leadership: Architect and execute global technical marketing strategies for self-driving networks, accelerating product adoption and scaling business growth through innovative go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.

High-Impact Technical Storytelling: Synthesize complex autonomous networking concepts into compelling messaging, demos, and enablement content that bridges the gap between technical rigor and executive business value.

Serve as a premier technical authority for C-suite leadership, global partners, and key customers, influencing high-stakes technology investments and strategic direction.

Data-Driven Optimization: Establish and analyze rigorous success metrics, leveraging deep data insights to iterate on marketing tactics and quantify business impact.

Product & Roadmap Influence: Partner cross-functionally with product management to synchronize development roadmaps with market shifts, emerging technologies, and customer requirements.

Organizational Leadership: Scale and inspire a world-class Technical Marketing Engineering (TME) team, fostering a culture of technical excellence, rapid innovation, and professional mentorship.
