At North Idaho Eye Institute, were looking for a Patient Services Representative who thrives in a fast-paced setting and takes pride in helping others.

Youll be the first point of contact for our patientssetting the tone for their visit and ensuring every interaction is smooth, professional, and supportive.

What Youll Be Doing Greet patients with professionalism and warmthUpdate demographics and insurance details during check-inAnswer and route calls using a multi-line phone systemSchedule appointments and make reminder callsVerify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizationsCollect co-pays and outstanding balances; set up payment plans when neededRefer billing inquiries to the appropriate departmentCheck out patients and schedule follow-upsCreate and maintain accurate patient chartsMonitor and manage no-show appointmentsKeep the waiting area clean, organized, and welcomingStock and maintain coffee stationsAssist with medical records and general office tasks (copying, faxing, scanning, mail handling)Provide administrative support to supervisors and clinic managerRotate between three clinic locations based on operational needs
