Co-op Coordinator
This position requires living onsite in a designated 2-bedroom apartment.
The Co-op Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of property management, including leasing, maintenance, finance, and resident-member relations.
They are responsible for promoting the belief in the cooperative principles and assisting in creating a strong community that adheres to CSI policies and federal, state, and local laws.
This is accomplished by providing continuous education to empower all members to participate in the management of their cooperative while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
Additionally, the Co-op Coordinator acts in the best interest of the cooperative and represents the corporation in a positive manner and promotes the mutual policy of respect between resident-members.

Manage the daily operations of the propertiesComplete annual budgets and monitor monthly financesOversee maintenance of the co-op, including working closely with maintenance person to conduct monthly site walks and inspections, unit inspections, ensuring work orders are completed timely, and adhering to the preventative maintenance scheduleEnsure vacancy turnover times are met and maintain full occupancyAssist in the maintenance of the co-op waiting list in conjunction with the wait list departmentCoordinate applicant screening interviews, move-ins and move-outs in conjunction with the certification departmentHandle all reasonable accommodation/modification requests end ensure timely processing and follow-upEnsure effective customer service and resident relationsBuild strong relationships with resident-members, address concerns, and maintain a positive community atmospherePromote and foster volunteer engagement in our unique cooperative management systemUpdate Outlook calendars, answer emails, voicemails, phone calls and direct mailingsAttend regular staff and education meetingsReview and process invoices and payablesWrite monthly co-op report about overall operationsListen to the board meeting at your assigned co-op with membersPost 30-day nonpayment of rent notices and follow-upRespond to emergencies during and after hoursAdhere to company policies, safety regulations, and OSHA requirementsPerforms other related duties as assigned.
