Floating Licensed Practical Nurse

ReGenesis Health Care Floating Licensed Practical Nurse Overview: Exciting opportunity to join our clinical team as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC).

You will render nursing care two days a week at our Northside health center and three days floating to assigned RHC health centers tomeet individualized patients needs, according to dependent and independent nursing functions in conformance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, and established standards under the direction of a physician or health care provider.

Excellent pay up to $31.00 per hour based on experience with excellent full-time benefits.

Sign-on bonus and quarterly incentive.

Duties and Responsibilities: Includes but not limited to all the duties of a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant and;Performdelegated independent nursing functions using established procedures, policies, guidelines, and standards in accordance with the South Carolina Nursing Practice ethical and professional guidelines.Accurately documentpertinent observations and interventions in the Electronic Medical Record to aid in the development of the patient centered care plan and the delivery of quality and equitable health care.Carryout physician orders timely and accurately.Maintenance of quality control standards, logs, and point of care testing.Provideinstruction/teaching to the patients relative to identified medical and psychosocial problems/needs to aid in positive outcomes.Attendrequired Clinical and Health Center in-service programs.Demonstrateresponsibility and accountability for professional practice, continued growth, and self-evaluation.Must complywith the ReGenesis Health Care infection control policies and procedures including Body Substance Isolation (BSI) and the exposure Control Plan which reflects OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.Understandand demonstratecompliance with both Health Services and Resources Administration (HRSA) and ReGenesis Health Care program requirements.Maintainappropriate licensure and participates in continuing education activities to exemplify the Licensed Practical Nurse.Ensure and uphold the confidentially requirements of all patient records and manage all daily tasks and activities consistent with HIPAA, state and federal laws and regulations, as well as the clinics policies and regulations regarding confidentiality and security.Provide culturally competent quality patient-centered health care in partnership with the communities we serve.
